At present, our web site is still under construction. We are making an effort to present you with a broad overview of Diamond Ranches.  As soon as possible we intend to add more detail on the Ken McNabb horse clinics, the Spring 2009 horse auction, and the units themselves.  Plan to check back often to find updates.

In the meantime you can reach us at 307-233-3900 and by fax at 307-232-0813. We are looking forward to hearing from you.

At Diamond Ranches we are attempting to raise excellent children (at our 2008 branding there were over 25 children working alongside their parents), choice cattle, and outstanding horses.  We recognize that there are more efficient means of raising cattle, horses and children.  But at Diamond Ranches we are not in a hurry to get a job done.  Instead we are interested in the end product.  Around the ranches you will often hear the statements like:  "It just takes the time it takes."  "What's the fastest way to move cattle?  Very slowly."

Diamond Ranches consists of three units.  The first unit is the Tomahawk.  The Tomahawk unit is located approximately 17 miles South of Douglas Wyoming.  On the Tomahawk we raise predominately black baldy cattle.  Its foreman is Doug Moore.  Also we enjoy the consulting services of Dr. Robert Cross, who has lived his entire life on the ranch.

The second unit is the Powderhorn.  The Powderhorn is just a few miles up the Cold Springs road from the Tomahawk.  This unit is new to us.  We have plans for the Powderhorn as lofty as the mountains that surround it, and we are working feverishly to restore the buildings and add an indoor arena.  The Powderhorn unit will raise horses.  We also hope to hold horse training clinics, taught by Ken McNabb, on the Powderhorn.

The last unit in Diamond Ranches is the Sage Creek unit.  Sage Creek is separated from the other two by a mountain range.  Sage Creek is predominately used for summer pasture for our cattle and a get away for our families.
